Furniture and architectural carving was critical to my development as a carver, and began with carving tudor roses on the backs of chairs for the furniture company I was working for, and quickly led on to linenfold panels, tester beds, bulbous acanthus table legs, and serpentine chests for the American market, as well as the staple of cabriole legs for dressers, tables and chairs. This allowed me to quickly learn from the deep end, as well as hone my hand skills in the real world.
Although not the bulk of my work nowadays, I still enjoy the occasional piece of furniture or architectural carving, and welcome any enquiries.
